WAYWARD

AdMa Group Research Exhibition
20–22 June 2025
MORPHO (Ploegstraat 25, 2018 Antwerp)
Opening hours: Friday: 5–9pm (vernissage)
Saturday and Sunday: 1–5pm

Featuring: Déborah Claire, Jelle Annie Michiels, Joud Toamah, L. Puska, Manju Sharma, Parvin Saljoughi, Vivi Touloumidi and Yasmine Akondo

Although difficult to control or predict, “Wayward” is not a drifting toward loss but a deliberate unalignment, a deviation that makes space for other perspectives and ways of being. This research exhibition brings together eight researchers and disruptors – from the Sint Lucas Antwerpen Advanced Master of Research in Art and Design – whose practices challenge conventions, question systems and explore alternative narratives. Through their shared investigations, they create a collective space of inquiry, exchange and resistance, where taking another path becomes a method.

We invite you to crawl into our research and (un)fold our practices with us at MORPHO.

The exhibition title is inspired by the book Wayward Lives, Beautiful Experiments (2019) by Saidiya Hartman.
Poster design by Joud Toamah
